Who am I?

I am still searching…but I am just an ordinary person smelling the roses in the physical world, so to speak. I was trained as a Barrister-at-Law at The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple England and called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1966 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inner_Temple I am no longer wearing a tie or a wig and court band. Today I travel light and globetrot as a Free Pilgrim around the world trying to counter bigotry, sharing and enjoying stories in the constant search of an inner spiritual path.

Professional and social Background

I was Attorney-General of The State of Sabah Malaysia (1976-1985). I initiated the formation of The Sabah Law Association (now known as The Sabah Law Society) in 1970 and was its First Secretary. I was a founder and President (1986-1990) of The Sabah Golf and Country Club. I was the founder and the First President (1991-1995) of The Council of The Justices of The Peace Sabah Malaysia. The Central Bank Malaysia (Bank Negara) appointed me as Chairman and Chief Executive of Sabah Bank (1987-1997) to restructure the Bank, which eventually merged with Alliance Bank Malaysia. From that position, I retired and became a Free Pilgrim

Spiritual path

Dedication to a spiritual path opens a space in our otherwise busy secular life. It deepens and transforms us to receive the abundance of every gift beyond our expectations and imagination. I like to encourage people to understand there are three persons in every one of us. Looking into the mirror, I see myself as the first person. Someone else perhaps would look at me and see the second person because I am being read like the cover of a book. But there is a third person in me. I hope you can see this third person. Most importantly, we need “willingness” in all of us…and my greatest hope is for all of us to be willing to accept the grace that is freely given to us.

Let the Holy Spirit fill the space of the third person in us. I blog because I care. Come and walk with me… even if it be only the interior🙏

Peace Be with You

Yes we did meet on the Azamara in January 2012. We had a great time in South America and are still cruising strong, although mostly on Royal Caribbean. Thanks for the beautiful picture. You have a very nice Website. Maybe we’ll see you again on a future cruise.

Becky, Your TransAustralian journey from Perth to Sydney sounded so fascinating to me. Now you have to find a story to tell about Japan more interesting than what Ray can (with his Japanese experience :).
